ZipLocate Reverse Geocoding

ZipLocate now experimentally supports reverse geocoding. An API call looks like this:

GET http://ziplocate.us/api/v1/reverse/<lat>,<lng>
{
  "lat": 40.0218407798957,
  "lng": -105.285698075852,
  "zip": "80302"
}

Latitude and longitude are passed to the API separated by a comma. The zip code is returned along with the center latitude and longitude of the zip code.

Experimentally supports means that the data might be inaccurate or unavailable for some locations. I'll be keeping a close eye on the logs to improve the accuracy of the queries until the results are satisfactory.

As always, the public API is free and never rate limited. If you prefer to host the API yourself, or integrate the data directly in your application, the source code and instructions are on Github.
